Ashok Jain Awards of Academic Research & Higher Education” recognizes individuals who will make significant technical and professional contributions to the outstanding academic Research on engineering technology profession. Ashok Jain award recipients are announced in
"Ashok Jain Award” is the highest honor to an individual of Technical & Professionals outstanding contributions of Academic Research of Engineering Technology. This elite group represents those individuals who have given outstanding service to IFERP or have demonstrated distinguished scientific or engineering achievements in the fields within the technical scope of IFERP.
Nominee Eligibility
Anyone Members demonstrating exceptional service to IFERP or outstanding achievements in the Engineering Research Academy
If they are on the current IFERP Board of Directors or Distinguished Member committee or those who have served in these positions during the past 2 years.
Eligibility for Award:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in academic or 15 years of experience in industries related to Science Engineering Technology.
- Develop (if any) scientific proposal with grand’s from renowned governmental and foreign bodies like, DRDO, CSIR, ISRO or other public sector undertaking.
- Exceptional contribution towards academic by support to PhD scholars or other professional.
- Publication in at least 20 International journals transactions with global citation
- Scientific contribution and patents useful for humanity and society
- If recommended by government of India, public sector undertaking and universities under University Grand Commission (UGC) for fulfilling above mention eligibility

Smt. Snehalata Dash awards recognize members who contribute exceptional service and leadership within IFERP, as well as making significant professional contributions with scientific excellence in Engineering & Technical. Awards are presented at the appropriate IFERPE region or IFERP section meeting.
Nominee Eligibility
- Must be a living member of IFERP.
- Must have been recognized for outstanding contributions in some aspect of engineering or exhibited service to an IFERP Society.
Eligibility for Award
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in academic or 10 years of experience in industries related to Science Engineering Technology.
- Develop (if any) scientific proposal with grand’s from renowned governmental and foreign bodies like, DRDO, CSIR, ISRO or other public sector undertaking.
- Exceptional contribution towards academic by support to PhD scholars or other professional.
- Publication in at least 10 International journals transactions with global citation.

- Include a complete statement of the reasons for proposing the candidate, with a record of the candidate's professional and industrial achievements in detail.
