Sharad Institute of Technology, College of Engineering (SITCOE), was established by Shri.ShamraoPatil (Yadravkar) Educational & Charitable Trust, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Govt of Maharashtra and affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur in the year 2009, with a vision to be a Centre of Excellence in Technical Education by using cutting edge technology that produces competent engineers of today and tomorrow to serve the society.
Sharad Institute of Technology, College of Engineering offers five engineering graduate programs covering, ‘Civil, Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical and Computer Science and Engineering.At present running with sanctioned intake of 420 at first year and lateral intake of 60 for direct second year Mechanical Engineering.
The college has earned a remarkable position in the field of technical education through the untiring efforts of the visionary management, competent faculty members and students. Recently college is awarded with ‘A’ grade from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore. The institution with its state of the art facilities and dedicated faculty members has become a hub of technocrats and is marching towards new frontiers. The consistently good academic performance of the students coupled with excellent placement record shows the quality of education being provided in the college. With the competent engineers Sharad Institute of Technology also believes in its strong value system which gives prominence for developing responsible citizens to the society.
