MAEER'S Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), established in 1983, is today amongst the top engineering colleges in India. The news magazine 'Outlook' has ranked MIT Pune as 1st in Maharashtra & 11th in India amongst the finest Private Engineering Colleges. With the sole objective of meeting the long felt need of a center of scientific and educational research, which would meet the challenges of the present and the future technical advancements of the fast changing world, MIT Group of Institutions was established as a society and charitable trust. Since then, the MIT Group of Institutions have grown leaps and bounds and has made a strong impact in the field of education throughout the country. With more than 10 campuses in the state of Maharashtra covering almost 1000 acres of area, the MIT Group provides education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Marine Engineering, Insurance, Distance Education, Telecom Management, Lighting, Design, Food & Technology, Retail Management, and Masters in Business Administration, School of Government and also School Education.

MAEER's, Pune started Polytechnic in 1996 as Women's Polytechnic. In the flow of time Doors of this college are being opened for boys students as well. The institute is located in the beautiful campus premises at Pune and it has best of all necessary infrastructure and the instructional support to achieve one of the best end results for our students. The institute runs diploma courses of six semesters (3years duration).The institute has excellent track records of placements and the students being selected for engineering degree. The institute is approved by AICTE, Delhi and is recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. The institute is affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra state, Mumbai and an ISO Certified as well.
